لكل صفقة منفّذة مشترٍ وبائع. تصنف الدلتا الطرف المبادر، غالباً بالاعتماد على التنفيذ عند العرض مقابل الطلب، ثم تجمع الدلتا التراكمية الفروق منذ إعادة ضبط مختارة. تؤثر طريقة التصنيف وجودة البيانات والتجميع في النتيجة. قارن تغير الدلتا بتقدم السعر. الاختلاف بينهما يدعو إلى فحص المزاد، ولا يثبت احتجاز متداولين كبار أو حتمية انعكاس قادم.

A running sum of aggressor-classified buy volume minus sell volume.

Every executed trade has a buyer and a seller. Delta classifies which side initiated the trade, commonly using executions at the ask versus the bid; cumulative delta adds those differences from a chosen reset. Classification rules, feed quality, and aggregation can change the result. Compare changes in delta with price progress. Divergence is a prompt to inspect the auction, not proof that large traders are trapped or that a reversal must follow.
