Let R = IB high − IB low. Under this site’s convention, an upward 50% extension is IB high + 0.5R; a downward 100% extension is IB low − R. Label the convention because platforms can display extensions differently. Wait until the defined IB period is complete for fixed levels. Extensions are reference distances, not volume-profile value areas or automatic reversal points. Review acceptance, rejection, and room to the next level before considering an entry there.
