Market Rhythm is about timing and velocity rather than a fixed rule. Price moves in wave-like rotations, so you wait for the full pullback, not a shallow one, before joining a move. The true range of the last 30-60 minutes sizes your stops, scaling, and targets: in a 20-point range grabbing 20 points is unrealistic, while in a 60-point range 10 points is easy. A measured move clones a prior leg's size to project the next, and IB extensions are themselves measured-move clones. Velocity matters too: avoid freight-train moves where stops blow out.
