أوقاف تُقاس من البنية لا من عدد نقاط ثابت: خلف الذيل أو النطاق أو LVN الذي يُبطل الفكرة — وصغّر الحجم لتتحملها.
مكان الوقف حيث تكون فكرة الصفقة خاطئة موضوعيًا — خلف ذيل قمة/قاع، أو خلف نطاق σ، أو تحت/فوق فجوة الحجم المنخفض التي عرّفت الدخول — لا عند رقم نقاط مدوّر يُطبق على كل صفقة. وأرقام التدريب تجعله ملموسًا: صفقة نطاق نظيفة على ES تحتاج نحو 6 نقاط مجالًا (والحاجة لأكثر تعني تقلبًا أعلى من اللازم أو مستوى خاطئًا)؛ ودخول NQ المفرد يحتاج عادة 20–25 نقطة تحت الفجوة البنيوية؛ وصفقة NQ المجزأة قد تتطلب حتى 40 نقطة من المتوسط. ولازمة ذلك هي الحجم: حين تفرض البنية وقفًا واسعًا، تداول عقودًا أقل بدل ضغط الوقف داخل الضجيج. وفوق ذلك كله تقف القاعدة الأولى — لا تحرّك وقفًا أبدًا هربًا من تحمل الخسارة.

The stop belongs where the trade idea is objectively wrong — behind a swing wick, beyond the σ-band, below or above the low-volume notch that defined the entry — never at a round number of points applied to every trade. Coaching numbers make it concrete: a clean ES band trade needs about 6 points of room (needing more means the volatility is too high or the level was wrong); an NQ single entry typically needs 20–25 points below the structural notch; a layered NQ swing can require up to 40 points from the average. The corollary is sizing: when structure demands a wide stop, trade fewer contracts rather than tightening the stop into noise. And the number-one rule stands above all of it — never move a stop to avoid taking the loss.
