يختبر نمط النظر أعلى والفشل منطقة فوق قمة أو حد معروف ثم يعود أسفله، والعكس للاختبار السفلي. حدد الحد مسبقاً وما يؤكد العودة: إغلاق أو إعادة اختبار أو كسر بنية محلية. قد يدعم النمط حركة نحو داخل النطاق، لكنه لا يكشف مراكز الآخرين أو أوقافهم بدقة. ضع بطلان الفكرة خلف الاختبار الفاشل وفق الخطة وتأكد من كفاية المساحة إلى الهدف التالي.

A probe beyond a boundary followed by a return inside.

A look above and fail tests beyond a known high or range boundary and then returns below it; the downside version is symmetrical. Define the boundary in advance and what confirms the return: a close, retest, or local structure break. The pattern can support a move back into the range, but it does not reveal the exact positions or stops of other traders. Invalidation belongs beyond the failed probe according to the plan, with sufficient room to the next objective.
