The RTH VWAP, its sigma bands, and the IB are the primary intraday playing field, distinct from the overnight Globex anchor on the same chart. Note that the equity-index pit/RTH close is 4:15 PM ET (not 4:00) for end-of-session VWAP/IB logic. Most clean moves come after the opening volatility, so the first 15-30 minutes is taken only with very small size, if at all.
